Advancing Just Energy Transitions

ACCESS Southern Africa Node (Action 24) influenced inclusion of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) provisions within Zimbabwe’s Clean Cooking Strategy, strengthening recognition of women and youth as leaders in implementation.

ACCESS also convened regional dialogues ahead of COP29 involving more than 250 participants across Africa, strengthening civil society coordination on climate finance, youth participation, and just energy transitions.
