1. Consultancy to Develop a Strategic Plan for The Sustainable Energy Access Forum Kenya (SEAF-K)

The overall objective of this consultancy is to develop a Five year Strategic Plan to ensure that SEAF-K fulfils her mandate. Key deliverables for this consultancy include a Five-year strategic plan including a results and resources framework and a Report on the process including stakeholder consultations and workshops.

2. Communications & Advocacy Manager

Nairobi, Kenya
Will be responsible for leading development and implementation of regional communications strategies. You’ll also be
responsible for developing and implementing the ACCESS East Africa Regional advocacy strategy, with a main focus on Kenya, in line with the three advocacy priorities of: (a) implementation of SDG 7; (b) engagement with the African Development Bank (AfDB) and World Bank Group (WBG) in Kenya/East Africa; (c) Knowledge and capacity building on energy access issues working in collaboration with the Programme Officer and the International Coordinator. 3. Programme Officer

Nairobi, Kenya
The Programme Officer (PO) will undertake administrative and logistical support for the delivery of all ACCESS Secretariat activities. You will also take lead on membership engagement, support and fundraising. Finally, you will provide support for advocacy activities as required. Closing date: 19th August 2020, 11.59pm EAT.

4. Document the status of civic space for civil society engagement in advocating for Clean Cooking and Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) in West Africa

ACCESS Coalition s’est associé à Hivos pour lancer une évaluation sur la façon dont les OSC utilisent ou élargissent l’espace civique pour s’exprimer et représenter les voix des personnes qui n’ont pas accès à l’énergie propre (principalement sur la DRE et la cuisine propre) et qui en subissent les conséquences. L’évaluation mettra également en évidence la contribution des OSC à l’amélioration de l’environnement propice au DRE et à une cuisine propre. L’objectif global du consultant est de documenter comment les OSC utilisent ou élargissent l’espace civique pour représenter les personnes sans accès à l’énergie et qui en subissent les conséquences. 5. Call for Applications: West Africa ACCESS Regional Coordinating Organization (RCO)

Ghana, West Africa Region.

We are seeking a coordinating organisation to work with members and other development practitioners and key stakeholders to develop and implement advocacy and capacity-building activities at a national level in Ghana with a limited number of wider regional activities to be scaled up over the medium term, subject to additional funding. ACCESS, therefore, invites calls for applications from CSOs with a strong track record on energy access advocacy nationally in Ghana and experience of working in the wider West Africa region, to lead national and regional advocacy activities.
