ACCESS is hosting a side event during the seventh session of the Africa Regional forum on sustainable Development. The objective of the event is to promote evidence-based discussion among a range of stakeholders, including government, DFIs, investors, business and civil society representatives, on the future energy finance, policy and technical support needed in the Africa continent to deliver a just energy transition for climate action. The side event brings together various African scholars and development practitioners who will debate key issues surrounding the just energy transition with a view to framing the transition and its effects within context.
