Gaurav Dahal, WWF
Gaurav Dahal currently leads WWF’s work on renewable energy particularly in decentralized energy, low carbon programs and energy access. He is particularly interested in international development cooperation, partnerships building with a focus on implementation of alternative energy and low-carbon technologies.
He believes that the universal access to energy plays strongly to both the “people” and “nature” sides of WWF’s mission. Improving access to clean, reliable and affordable energy will result in a range of improvements and naturally explains the connections between WWF’s environmental agenda, human wellbeing and sustainable economic growth.
