Elle stipule que \u00ab les jeunes repr\u00e9sentent une part importante de la population ghan\u00e9enne et subissent les cons\u00e9quences du changement climatique bien plus longtemps. De ce fait, ils sont des acteurs cl\u00e9s de ce processus \u00bb. Par ailleurs, la Strat\u00e9gie nationale pour le climat et l\u2019\u00e9conomie verte du Ghana de 2016 souligne que \u00ab les enfants et les jeunes sont vuln\u00e9rables aux effets du changement climatique, mais peuvent aussi \u00eatre des agents du changement dans la lutte contre ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le R\u00e9seau strat\u00e9gique des Jeunes pour le D\u00e9veloppement (SYND) a men\u00e9, sur la base de ce qui pr\u00e9c\u00e8de, une enqu\u00eate en 2016 aupr\u00e8s de jeunes leaders (\u00e2g\u00e9s de 15 \u00e0 35 ans) dans des communaut\u00e9s s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es du Ghana dans le cadre d'un projet sur le r\u00f4le des jeunes dans l'adaptation au changement climatique.<\/p>\n<p>Le Ghana est divis\u00e9 en trois zones : le Nord, le Centre et le Sud. Chacune d\u2019elles pr\u00e9sente des caract\u00e9ristiques g\u00e9ographiques et environnementales uniques. Pour cette \u00e9tude, une communaut\u00e9 par zone a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e afin d\u2019obtenir des donn\u00e9es repr\u00e9sentatives et pr\u00e9cises sur le v\u00e9cu des jeunes face aux changements climatiques. La zone Sud correspond aux r\u00e9gions c\u00f4ti\u00e8res ; la zone Centre aux zones de for\u00eat tropicale humide ; et la zone Nord aux r\u00e9gions aux temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Les jeunes leaders ont \u00e9t\u00e9 choisis d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment en raison de leur engagement ind\u00e9niable et de leur r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant dans le bien-\u00eatre de leur communaut\u00e9.
