Fabby Tumiwa, IESR
Fabby is Executive Director of Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR), based in Jakarta. IESR undertakes public policy analysis and policy advocacy on the issues of energy, extractive industries and climate change. IESR assist some government institutions and local government in the area of energy and climate policies.
Fabby is an expert on Indonesia energy and climate change policy, with specialisation on renewable energy and energy efficiency with more than 15 years experiences. He has been working on energy planning, policy, regulation, and governance issues of energy in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, and installed solar power system in remote villages of Indonesia. Fabby is a member of the implementation team of Sumba Iconic Island Initiative, a joint initiative of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Hivos, since 2011.
